We generally meet for our activities at 9am and 12pm. We sometimes run another trip at around 330pm during weekends/ holidays. Each activity lasts roughly 3 hours. Our adventure activities are suitable for adults and children (age 4+, activity specific), no previous experience is required, all equipment is provided, all activities are guided by an instructor and most activities require some level of basic fitness.
We meet at specific locations for each activity; generally in the Barmouth to Blaenau Ffestiniog (coastal) central Snowdonia area. You can book your adventure online as late as 24hrs before the trip runs; bear in mind we're almost always fully booked at weekends and holidays and booking well in advance is advised. Upon booking you're automatically sent all the information you need, including what time we meet, where exactly we meet and what you'll need to bring with you (all safety and specialist equipment is provided by us). If you'd like to know beforehand where an activity takes place, just drop us an e-mail.
We welcome adults, families, couples and organised corporate, hen and stag groups. If you're part of a bigger group it's often best to get in touch (our online system doesn't always show all our actual availability). We generally accommodate up to 16 in a mixed group, for bigger groups get in touch for specific information. If you have any questions at all about whether or not our activities are suitable for you we're happy to help. Specific information for each activity is detailed below:
The adventure activities industry in the UK is not regulated by law. This means that just because a company appears to be operating legitimately does not necessarily mean they have qualified and experienced guides, and even worse, may not have a valid insurance policy. Whoever you choose as a business/guide, it's up to you to make sure they're legit, they have an appropriate insurance policy and their staff are experienced and hold the correct qualifications.
All participants are covered for public liability and negligence on the part of the company for up to £5'000'000. Should you wish to be covered for personal accident and injury (recommended), you must take out your own holiday insurance.
For more information on the qualifications we hold and our professional affiliations (including the BMC, BCA, AMI, BCU, BSA UKCC and British Cycling), please drop us and e-mail and we'll be happy to send details.
We do not allow unaccompanied children on any of our adventures. All under 18s must be accompanied by a paying and participating parent/ legal guardian (there's no max child:adult ratio). We are not ALLA registered and this is a legal requirement for anyone running these types of session.
