Who are we?
Snowdonia Adventure Activities was established in 2011 and is owned and run by North Wales local, George (a qualified outdoor instructor and mountain leader with nearly 15 years of experience both on the water and in the mountains). We're a small business with a core team; we really care about our clients and their experience with us and our unrivaled feedback reflects this. Unlike other companies we don't hire any guides; every trip is personally run by George and Rachel. This means you're guaranteed the best adventure safe in the hands of two of the most experienced and personal instructors in Snowdonia. We use locally manufactured and world famous DMM equipment and the warmest winter thickness wetsuits; quality control is important to us!

George
“I've grown up in Snowdonia and I was brought up doing things like rock climbing and surfing. I love living in North Wales; I get out climbing a lot, and I do a bit of kayaking, kitesurfing, mountain biking and general mountain exploring (with Sparky). I started the business back in 2011; I love showing people a real adventure and taking them out of their comfort zone! “
Rachel
“As a North Wales local I know a lot about the area and the outdoors. I've been an instructor for 4 years now and it's great fun. Showing people the wilder side of Snowdonia is really rewarding, and I know the people I take out never forget the experience. Rock climbing is my main passion, I've done lots of routes in Wales and abroad.“
Charlie
“I spend my summers guiding adventures in North Wales, and during the winter I'll either do a season in the Alps or go travelling. During the summer we're pretty flat out and it's good knowing you'll be outdoors everyday. I enjoy meeting everyone, it's always really interesting! Wales is a great place to live; we've got good beaches that back straight on to wild and rugged mountains.“
